I am a big salad eater. Allendale Bar & Grill always has several different salads on the menu but they also offer you ability to make your own salad by using a checklist of items that you can use to make a salad. I like being able to vary the salads I eat –Jennifer B.

We've been going to AB&G for years and never tried their brunch. If you are a big fan of protein and sugar, it's the place for you!! There's an omelet station where you can pretty much get any kind of omelet you want and you get to watch it being made. The hot foods I prefer, eggs, sausage and potatoes are only part of an offering that include bacon, pancakes and French toast.

The sweets run from plain donuts, cut in half, to a very sweet fried chocolate and toast concoction that was a complete surprise when I took a bite. There was a nice offering of fresh fruit.

I would recommend it. It was not at all crowded, which was a surprise, so it would be a great place to go with a group of friends on an early Sunday afternoon. – Theresa

The Allendale Bar and Grill offers a large menu with many classic bar and grill items such as reubens, burgers, and clubs. It does not stop there though. AB&G also has a make your own salad option. You get to pick your protein, greens, and five toppings. The salads are huge and delicious (because you get to decide what is in it!). I think another big attraction for people who go there is the popcorn machine. They are constantly making popcorn out of an old fashioned popcorn popper that you would see at fairs.
